awa, a Tibetan Sherpa, is the founder of the Chhahari Orphanage. This special place was originally Dawa’s house which he decided to open to Nepali children, rescuing them from poverty, malnutrition, drug addiction, sex trafficking, and illegal trade in human organs. Pilgrims here have the opportunity to experience Dawa’s world, and the joy of helping those in need. This journey is purely about sharing, giving, offering, and being astonished by the wonders of creation—mountains, animals, rivers and man. This is a journey to the roof of the world for a taste of the highest and a glimpse of the deepest in others and ourselves.
