PATRIZIA DE LIBERO

Patrizia De Libero was born in Italy in 1972. She grew up in Rome where she completed all her studies. At sixteen years of age her father moved to Syria for work and she lived there for about 18 months. She worked in Ireland and London for almost 4 years.Moved by spiritual reasons, she left her job and travelled in Asia as a solo backpacker in the Middle East, India, Tibet, China, Nepal, Uzbekistan also in Africa and Central America, looking for guidance and answers to inner questions. In 2006 she became a tour guide in Egypt and Jordan and a

Tour Director for an English company based on responsible tourism. During personal pilgrimages to Holy Land and Mount Sinai, she felt a clear calling: connecting people to sacred places. In 2007 she was asked to join ORP, the Vatican office of Pilgrimages, helping people on their journeys’ of the spirit, through the way of the pilgrimage.

She now lives in Massachusetts in the peaceful countryside where she is still connecting people to sacred places though Kairos Pilgrimages, promoting interfaith connection and a new way of experiencing life.

Shavkat graduated from the Tashkent State Economics University. He also studied at Istanbul University and Universitaire Faculteiten Sint-Ignatius (Belgium). He has working experience in the Siemens AG representative office in Tashkent. He is a polyglot, speaks English, German, Russian, Uzbek, Turkish and Flemish.
